Abigail Richards
Abi is currently Head of Transformation at SBFM. She began her career in management consultancy, working across major UK defence and public sector programmes to improve processes and deliver value for money.
She moved into the facilities management industry in 2023, joining SBFM as Account Director for the PureGym account. In this role, she led operations across more than 400 sites nationwide and played a key role in securing a two-year contract extension.
In 2025, Abi was named the Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers’ Future Leader in FM. She now focuses on delivering data-driven solutions and shaping the future of the facilities management industry, alongside contributing to publications such as Facilitate magazine and the European Cleaning Journal. Abi is also passionate about supporting social mobility through initiatives including SBFM’s Evolve programme.
