Chris Barnes
With over 30 years’ experience in senior management roles within the Facilities Management (FM) sector, Chris brings extensive expertise gained across both large multinational providers and smaller specialist FM organisations.
Chris has been with Pareto FM for eight years and currently is The Business Unit Director, where he leads high-performing teams and drives strategic growth across his portfolio.
A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Chris has served on numerous D&I committees and is committed to bringing neurodiversity to the forefront of the FM industry and the workplaces it supports. Since receiving his official autism diagnosis, he has become a leading voice for autism awareness in the workplace. He has delivered impactful social media campaigns to educate organisations, championed inclusive employment practices, supported young autistic individuals entering the FM sector, spoken at industry-leading events, and mentored professionals to help grow a thriving neurodiverse workforce.
A multi-award winner, Chris was recognised as part of the Class of 2024 Top 50 Workspace Leaders, reflecting both his industry influence and his commitment to driving meaningful change
