Christy Smith, Head of Business Excellence at Integrated Estate Management (IEM) and Chair of the IWFM Women in FM (WiFM) Network.

Christy began her career in facilities management over 14 years ago and has worked her way up from a junior role into senior leadership, giving her a strong operational foundation and broad sector knowledge.

In her current role, Christy leads on continuous improvement, people initiatives, governance and brand, helping to shape industry-leading workplaces and client partnerships. Alongside this, she is passionate about supporting women and under-represented groups to progress into senior leadership, using the WiFM network to create greater visibility, opportunity and support across the built environment.

Christy is a strong advocate for modern, people-focused FM and is committed to driving positive change so the next generation sees the sector as one where they can grow, lead and thrive.
