I started my career in banking at the tender age of 16 years old; as a schoolgirl, I knew college or university was not right for me at the time, and so I decided to get a job in a bank. Initially, I just wanted to in that would help pay the bills; after joining Halifax at 16, I realised that I wanted more for myself and my career.
