I have worked in the construction industry for roughly 4 years now which is heavily male dominated. It is easy to feel like the odd one out but it is important that women in the industry see this as an opportunity for cultural growth. I originally worked as a plant machine operator within quarry with this company, then I was given the opportunity to extend my knowledge into H&S.
