I was contacted by a recruiter when I moved to the UK in 2005 from the USA for my previous transferable skills looking after art galleries in the USA. My first job in Facilities was as an FM Administer for EMI music in 2005. I was promoted internally several times over the course of several years whilst I also worked towards my NEBOSH certification before moving onto become the FM Services Manager for Royal Bank of Canada in 2008. I was asked by a previous manager to come work for Etihad Airways as the European and USA Airport Lounges Facility Manager in 2012. I held that role for 6 years before I moved onto become a Project Manager for Manchester Airport Group Premium Lounges division until 2020 when I moved to Volvo Cars UK as the Workplace Experience Lead.
