Asset Manager , Dutch Central Government Real Estate Agency

I began my career after studying Facility Management, moving into commercial real estate where I specialised in asset management. Working at the intersection of strategy, finance and the built environment sparked my enthusiasm for the broader impact of real estate on organisations and society.

After several years in practice, I transitioned into higher education as a lecturer in Facility Management at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. There, I combined academic insight with industry experience, teaching and developing courses in accommodation strategy and workplace management, while also leading internationalisation within the programme. Connecting students, academia and industry across borders became a particular passion of mine.

For almost a year now, I have been working in the public sector as an Asset Manager at the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf (the Dutch Central Government Real Estate Agency), where I contribute to the management of a unique and diverse national property portfolio. In addition, I proudly serve as a Board Member of EuroFM, supporting collaboration and knowledge exchange within the European FM community.
