Matt has spent over 20 years at the intersection of academia and industry, shaping workplace and facility management research and practice. He is Director of Knowledge and Insights at the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and Professor of Workplace and Facility Management at Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University, UK. A Fulbright Scholar with over 80 publications and 2,500 citations, Matt’s work spans industry reports, peer reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference papers, helping to advance thinking across the global FM and workplace sector. He is a regular keynote speaker, known for engaging audiences at leading international conferences and advising organizations on new ways of working. Matt is also the founder of Connective Thought, supporting organizations to translate workplace research into meaningful and actionable insight.
