Robert Dahlstrom is the founder and CEO of Apellix®, a pioneering robotics company behind the world’s first tethered Power Wash drones. Driven by a passion for safety, Robert began experimenting with window-washing drone technology in 2013. Today, Apellix drones allow safer, more cost-efficient cleaning of warehouses, hospitals, industrial facilities, and more, minimizing risk to workers and extending asset lifespans. In 2023, Apellix developed an autonomous drone prototype for the U.S. Army to wash and decontaminate equipment, showcasing the technology’s adaptability. Known as the “father of Working Drones,” Robert holds seven U.S. patents, has published over 50 works, and actively shapes the future of facility maintenance through speaking and ongoing innovation.
