Simi Gandhi-Whitaker is an accomplished technologist with extensive experience in the emerging Smart technology market. She specialises in helping clients align their technology investments with workplace objectives to significantly enhance the Human Experience.

As former Managing Director of Mitie’s Smart Workplaces, Simi spearheaded the development of innovative go-to-market solutions, overseeing Workplace Consultancy, Building Management Systems (BMS), IoT technologies, and Design and Fitout services to deliver comprehensive workplace and connectivity offerings.

A passionate advocate for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I), Simi has been a prominent leader and mentor within the property and facilities management sectors. She served as Co-Chair of Mitie’s Women’s Network, Executive Sponsor and lead for the Women in Projects initiative, and a business mentor for the Cherie Blair Foundation. Additionally, she held roles as Non-Executive Director at mental health charity The Advocacy People and Chair of IWFM’s Women in FM Special Interest Group.
