H&S can be full of men who like to comment large sections of legislation and make things as technical possible. I believe the approach taken by women, who have the same knowledge but not the need to quote things all the time, can lead to a safer environment especially in caring environments such as schools and elder care. Understanding the reasons for the legislation and moving beyond compliance will increase buy in from organisations and hopefully make them safer
