I want to actively champion women in the security industry because, despite the progress we have made, women remain significantly underrepresented across the profession, particularly in operational and senior leadership roles. A stronger security industry should draw on the widest possible range of talent, experience and perspectives. For me, championing women is about helping remove unnecessary barriers, creating genuine opportunities to develop and lead, and ensuring talented people can see a clear and credible future for themselves within our profession.
