Championing women in industry is important to me because I’ve seen how much talent can be overlooked when people don’t have the confidence, support or opportunities to progress. Through my work with the IWFM People Development SIG, I’m passionate about creating those opportunities and helping people develop, but also about making sure women feel comfortable stepping into the room, having their voice heard and knowing they belong in what is still a largely male-dominated industry. For me, it’s about changing the culture as much as opening doors — so the next generation of women don’t feel they have to fit a mould to succeed.
