Facilities Management has given me a career I'm genuinely proud of, but it hasn't always made it easy to be a woman in it. That matters to me, because the industry is better when the people running buildings actually reflect the people who use them. I want the next generation of women coming into FM to spend less time proving themselves and more time doing the work.
